For a few hours today, Matthew Good had an instrumental teaser track up on his MySpace page. The track featured piano work similar to that of Dusk, Avalanche era guitar riffs, and a percussion background. Good commented, "I can't say for certain that I'll use it, but it's sort of where my head's at right now."
If you missed it, now's your chance to have a listen! Check out the Bored for a download in the NF Store.
Stay tuned for more daily updates and an upgrade of our website for this December.
Hamilton, Ontario's Natasha Alexandra or NLX is now opening for Matthew Good on the remainder of this tour.

Correction: Appologies to the opening act, her name is spelled Natasha Alexandra and she performs under the name NLX. She will be performing with Matthew Good until November 13th.

Just a heads up, Dala's last performance with Matthew Good was on the 3rd at the Cobalt Theatre. As of now we're unsure of who, if anyone, will be opening for the acoustic shows.

It looks like a few tour dates have been scheduled for the US in the upcoming year. We reported, a few days ago, of a show posted in Seattle but since Matt's wanting to push back the US leg of his tour to 2008, the certainty of the show remains in question.
On a post on his blog, Good mentioned that the tour would coincide with South By South West (SXSW) so we may be in for a treat if Matthew Good performs their as well. Individually: Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin (Texas), CHicago, Cleavland, Detroit, Rochester, Boston (Home of the Mooninites), New York, Philadelphia, and DC were tentatively mentioned for the tour. Please note that this will be ACOUSTIC as has been on his current tour.
For those of you eager for another album, we've got some good news. There is an EP, extended play, in the works and may feature some of the b-sides/demos we've heard live on the past tours. If I was a Tidal Wave and Keira Anne got special mentions though we expect to see more unreleased material. The EP would likely be available through iTunes, his blog, and with enough demand, in CD form. Stay tuned for more updates and concert dates!
We've updated our lyrics for Silent Army in the Trees as well as uploaded a copy of the song in the NF Store. You can use your NF$ from the Bored to download it.
There are only twelve more stops left on Matthew Good's solo acoustic tour, and a possible thirteenth, but tickets may still be available. Check out our concert listings for more information. Matthew plays the Stages Nightclub tonight in Kingston, Ontario.
Updated: A show in Seattle has just popped up, check our concert listings for more information. Note, this show is not yet confirmed.
