  1. Hehe, congrats man. Now back to my lurking...always lurking
  2. Heh alrights then ;) I guess I missread it then. I have been a tad out of it lately
  3. I actually agree with the some of the ideas given yet still I do not like the comparison between here and a job. The idea of the forum is to have fun and to talk about the awesomness which is Matt Good. Now I must say that the metaphor to a buisness and the bickering over who can police what people can say kills it. On the other hand I have not been around enough to see if there is a problem with the moderators or not. ALSO! If you feel so strongly about an election why don't you organize one yourselves? Maybe Anton would look and see what the results are and possibley put someone everyone likes as a mod. But there are a hundred possibilities To put it simply I will quote a teacher I once had "Complaining only works if you plan to fix your complaints yourself."
  4. Well actually I agree with Maverick on the Mod thing. Remember that this is a message board. Some people have lives and most of us, me included, will be showing up here less and less as we get closer to finals. So are you saying we should fire a person because they find that a career takes precident over the volunteer position they took to help there friend?
  5. Hey Matt. The problem with the teachers is not a tutition freeze. It is with class sizes and the right to strike. First off: The right to strike has been taken away from teachers within B.C. This has nothing to do with money at all. You can shout of numbers all you want about how they help raise the budject but people's basic rights have been taken away Second off: Class sizes. Now to you it may seem like basic bitching and complaining but to them it is a matter of great importance. I currently have heard of teachers with a total of seven labeled students in there classes and no special needs training. Now this does not only hurt the teacher but the students to. A student will nt get the attention needed if there teach is too busy dealing with a kid with ADHD.
  6. Hmm sounds intresting. I will pick it up from my local library
  7. Oh! Damnit that is why I do not have any friends
  8. I myself, having reached voting age in B.C. lately, am not voting Liberals for one reason. They are hurting teachers in our province. I myself am planning to become a teacher myself, not right now but soon, and plan not to put in a goverment which would hurt my future career.
  9. How is it that a girl does drugs and has a few orgies and gets a cruel title like slut. But a man does it and people go "Well good for you" It kinda pisses me off
  10. Trayas

    Ouch

Yes. But playing the voice of devil's advocate here. Getting that endorsment would be both a blessing and a curse. NF would be pushed into the lime light and everything woluld be monitered. That would mean that our Mods would not be allowed to do the stupid things they love to do, i.e change my name into inappropriate things...not that I am complaining, and would eventually get boring and sulky. Also think of the amount of idiots that would come on if Matt endorsed this site. I mean any hilbily with a Mac and a Matt Good CD could come on here (Not that I hate Hilbily's or Mac's...just making a point >.>)
  11. Hey! ban the old man...maybe he will die
  12. Well it is not really the kid's ault. Look at what they have as role models these days. Look at the kids parents. I think it if we want to fix this problems we should deal with these problems first.
  13. Here I got this in an E-mail and decided to share it with you all Did you know? If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. (Hardly seems worth it.) If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb. (Now that's more like it!) The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet. (O.M.G.!) A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes. (In my next life, I want to be a pig.) A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves to death. (Creepy.) (I'm still not over the pig.) Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour. (Do not try this at home...... maybe at work.) The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off. ("Honey, I'm home. What the....?!") The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field. (30 minutes... lucky pig... can you imagine??) The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds. (What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?) Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (I still want to be a pig in my next life...quality over quantity) Butterflies taste with their feet. (Something I always wanted to know.) The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue. (Hmmmmmm.........) Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer han left-handed people. (If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?) Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. (OK, so that would be a good thing....) A cat's urine glows under a black light. (I wonder who was paid to figure that out?) An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. (I know some people like that.) Starfish have no brains. (I know some people like that too.) Polar bears are left-handed. (If they switch, they'll live a lot longer.) Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. (What about that pig??)
  14. Yes! Oh maybe more contests for NFs and make it that if you ask for NFs on the bored you cannot be eligable
