  1. It sounds fantastic to me, second only to On Nights Like Tonight on the demos imho. Judging by what I've heard of it so far, Vancouver is shaping up to be my favorite MG record since Avalanche.
  2. The flu CAN cause nausea and stomach issues, in some cases.
  3. Yeah it is a really good one. I've never heard or even heard of "All Together" either.
  4. Damn straight. That made me want to watch the Searchers. Gotta love that one.
  5. I love "The Workers sing.." it's one of MGB best songs.
  6. My favorite is Advertising on Police Cars, but Sort of a Protest Song comes close. Police cars is one of my favorite songs ever, but I still didn't like it as much as the stuff from Avalanche. I'm just sad AOB isn't played more by Matt, at least at those I've been too I haven't heard him perform anything outside Sort of a Protest Song.
  7. He went to a more family orientated audience. It's sad because he really was one of the funniest stand-up comics of all time. No Country For Old Men, even better in Blu-Ray. A spectacular film. A+
  8. http://www.matthewgood.org/2008/03/on-nights-like-tonight/ They are still up.
  9. I don't I think the first is all that better, the second speaks to recent entries on his blog, like these two: http://www.matthewgood.org/2008/03/frozen/ *the start at least* http://www.matthewgood.org/2008/03/zero-hours/
  10. I like the song a lot actually. But he probably doesn't play it because of how forced AoB was. It's probably not as personal as other songs are to him.
  11. I thought it was a great movie. One Bacon's best.
  12. Could someone also send them my way please. As note I actually like the second after my first listen of it. The first will sound really good on an album though. Anyone else realize most of these demos have his voice doubled or multiplied in the choruses? I think they're all like that in fact...
  13. $120 or something close to see U2. i also paid rent that week so it was ramen noodles all week!
  14. I thought it was good, not the best of the demos, but it was good.
  15. i wouldnt say loves bush, but he's strongly like bush, just maybe less incompetent. and he's younger than reagan when he took office the first time. and i've yet to find an instance where he supported torture.
