  1. I enjoyed that DVD. Though, I wish it would have delved a little deeper.
  2. What terrifies me is the day our subway system gets fucked with. We're screwed if that ever happens. It baffles me how fragile that system is and how much damage it could do to New Yorkers. When I fly out of NY I get a little nervous, but the chances of a crash happening are still slim.
  3. Best show I have ever seen live was My Bloody Valentine. I saw one of the two NY reunion shows they played. It was truly amazing. Other bands I love (I said fuck it and just copy and pasted from my facebook-minus Matt Good because that's pretty obvious-)... Sonic Youth, Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Autolux, The Cure, Pavement, Failure, Smashing Pumpkins, Catherine Wheel, Wlco, Slowdive, The Rentals, Minus the Bear, Devo, Fugazi, Guided by Voices, Girls Against Boys, Nine Inch Nails, Hum, Joy Division/New Order, The Smiths, Ride, Eels, Nada Surf, American Analog Set, Prince, That Dog, PJ Harvey, The Breeders, Radiohead, Weezer, Jawbreaker, Silver Jews, Depeche Mode, Superdrag, Yo La Tengo,The Jesus & Mary Chain, The New Pornographers, The Magnetic Fields, Idlewild,TV On The Radio, Talking Heads,Fishboy, Spoon, Mogwai, Interpol, Beck, Foo Fighters, Pedro The Lion, The Dismemberment Plan, Refused, Recover,Celebrity, Eniac, Cordelane, Helium, Neutral Milk Hotel, Experimental Aircraft, Chin Up Chin Up, Sunny Day Real Estate, Denali, Built To Spill, Oingo Boingo, Blonde Redhead, Goldfrapp, Death Cab For Cutie, Sneaker Pimps, They Might Be Giants, Broken Social Scene, Fiona Apple, Sleater Kinney, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, Deftones, Metric, Year of the Rabbit, Mellowdrone, Devics,The Jam, Adorable, On, Kent, Self, The Wrens, Shiner, The Life and Times, Chavez, Trail of Dead, Low, Centro-matic, Creeper Lagoon, National Skyline, Cave In, Engine Down, Broadcast, Swervedriver, Calla, Bob Dylan, Viva Voce, Pinback, The Decemberists, Bloc Party, No Knife, Huker Du, Blur, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, Nirvana, Elastica, Cake Like, Elvis Costello, Neko Case, The Shins, The Cars,Dandy Warhols, Rilo Kiley, XTC...and many many more
  4. Not necessarily scary, but my favorite is Halloween or American Werewolf in London
  5. Reviving this because I had to chime in. At one point SP was my favorite band EVER. I still think Siamese Dream is one of the best albums ever made. To me,personally, that IS their best album. I love MCIS, but Siamese Dream I can listen to from start to finish over and over. As for the new Pumpkins...I'll listen to it, but I don't connect to it on the same level I did back in the day. It's just not the same.
  6. I figured that was the case. I remember when the US version of B, came out and being so pissed they fucked with the flow of the album. When I recommend the album to people here I have to stress to them to pick up the Canadian version. What's even stranger is that US iTunes carries all the albums now YET they still have the American fucked up version instead of the right version of BM. Ugh. Rant over. Necro out!
  7. The more I listen to this album the more I love it. Champions of Nothing and Giant are my current favorite tracks.
  8. I'm personally trying to avoid demos just because I want to be completely surprised when I hear the album. Sometimes when I hear demos I judge the album version. There have been cases where I like a demo more than the album version. That being said, I'll probably listen to the demos AFTER the album comes out and I've had time to let it sink in.
  9. Agreed about the extended lyrics! As for my avatar, really it just depends on when sunlight breaks (just don't get them in sunlight).
  10. The artwork for Beautiful Midnight shows up on Underdogs in my iTunes/iPod.
  11. Indeed! I used to own that Germany set until my old computer completely crashed on me and I lost it forever. That set had an amazing performance of Suburbia on it. The day I find that set again is the day I can feel whole again. Oh...Hi, everyone. First post. Glad to be here. I'm hoping he returns to NY to do a show. I was so pissed I had to miss the last time he was in town. It's funny how you guys mention NY being so bad with crime. I expected it to be worse when I moved to NY, but strangely enough I feel safer here than I did in certain parts of Texas where I grew up.
