Matthew Good Band Sort of a Protest Song Giant The Workers Sing A Song of Mass Production Matthew Good House of Smoke & Mirrors Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Non-Populus I'm pretty sure if I ever heard a full acoustic or band demo or whatever of Kiera-Anne it would make my top 3 for sure.
  7. It was a demo from the White Light era... That's all I know. Always have loved this song actually.
  8. Night Orders She wraps around you like a snake, a rope, a chain Under the lights you hear the question softly pinging But you don't remember nothing because forgetting's all that keeps you sane Under the table the fire breathes to life Climb the walls across the ceiling, down the pipes They send text inside your dreams but these night orders keep you tied Chorus: Singing "help, save me" Yeah, help me Out in the wilderness, I've been practising for years Bombshell to videos, dig for fire, facing fear Oh you don't know what you're doing, boy, so you better best stay here Well you and me, well it's nothing gets too clear (this one is tough) Like verse and ghetto, accelerates in spear (this line is really tough to decipher) Go tell him off on his kitchen floor, red and black to me appear
  9. I've watched these in the last few days: District 9 There Will Be Blood Into the Wild The Usual Suspects
  10. Can't wait to see how this game plays out tonight. The Bruins are either going to walk in and kill them like they have so many times this series or it will be a close one, right down to the wire. Should be interesting.
  11. Always enjoyed this tune. kinda wish he put a little more time into it.
  12. I have the whole thing on my computer I believe...
  13. Black Swan. Crazy. Didn't expect that. Such a good movie. Rent it if you haven't seen it. About to watch 127 hours...
  14. This album is really good. Well done, interesting how they recorded it as well. If you're a fan of the foo's, this is a back-to-basics style album from them. Something I've been waiting for since TC&S. Front to back, every track is great.
  15. ^^^ love that movie. Watched "dawn of the dead" and shaun of the dead" last night, owning the first and never have seen the latter until now. Both are pretty good. I find Shaun of the Dead to be a little slow at times... Was given about 50 burnt movies last night, will have a lot to fill in for this section for the next while...
  16. Gnomeo and Juliet. the girlfriend wanted to see it. good god.
  17. What do you think of it? I love it. Has a real 80's feel to it on some of the tracks. Great album, they're already working on a follow up to it. Going to see them at Bonnaroo, can't wait. I think the album will translate very well when done live.
  18. I haven't listened to anything for this album... demos or album versions. Can't wait for the new album, I want to hear it with fresh ears.
  19. Yes, who wants to be 65 or so... still singing great, playing gigs yearly and making some quality records still (Chaos & Creation being the best of his late years) ...who really wants that. Terrible stuff.
  20. best albums of 2010: Vampire Weekend - Contra Arcade Fire - the Suburbs Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Deftones - Diamond Eyes The Black Keys - Brothers Neil Young - Le Noise The Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening Robert Plant - Band of Joy Yeasayer - Odd Blood
  21. 7 out of the 11 songs played were singles... that's a pretty healthy amount.
  22. just bought Pans Labrynth and the Cell. Both are great movies. The Cell is pretty fucked up though.
