I just found out about her myspace music page.

i never ever knew she made music. I'm listening to it with a smile on my face. the production is really good for an unsigned artist...and a girl who worked at the on-campus convenience store.

 

I'm sure you out there have heard something like this before. but i think its pretty awesome.

 

i enjoyed her description on the page:

 

I am just a girl with a purple guitar, who enjoys singing tunes about the only two things that really matter: love and life. I do not anticipate being the next big thing, I do not wish to have a top 40 hit, I enjoy feeling. Feeling feelings that make me cry or make me laugh, or make me smile, or make me sigh. My songs are about those feelings. Those feelings are my songs. My songs are me.

this is the kind of music that just makes me feel good.

 

honestly, don't you think that she could be huge if she recorded more like this and signed to a label?

she really does. i've listened to it probably 10 times since I found it. put it on my iPod and everything.

ooooooooh, one other thing aboot this girl. I used to go up to her and get her opinions on "girl troubles" i was having. she's a real sweet girl....listened to me ramble about meaningless things.

Music (which includes vocals or any sound) = much more important than lyrics.

i didn't mean to insinuate that lyrics are more important than music. i thought in a discussion where the word "n00b" was used, what i said wouldn't be taken so literal.

Meh, good music can make up for okay lyrics. Good lyrics can make up for okay music.

 

I find it harder to get past bad lyrics than bad music.
