Book Quote

Recommended Posts

a while back in the book thread i mentioned a quote that i would look for here it is

i couldn't post it on that thread cause i was last to post and it wouldn't let me edit

"Looking back on it I doubt that I would have bothered with the book had I to do it all again. I think the charm of the manifestos, and why so many people read them every month, was that people were forced to wait to see what would be next. I think the book is more a memento that people can acquire to remind them of that feeling of expectation. I wrote the majority of them in a little room the size of a closet in a bachelor suite that was the width of two adults laying down head to feet. Looking back on them now, no wonder I sounded like I was off my rocker."

Paris Hilton’s Vagina

A choked highway

In and out of a riot drug metropolis

Slicked with cheap oil

Fast and easy, slow and hours long

Paris Hilton’s vagina

Ghetto rock for Princess

Pipe pages, a sticky magazine

Slow tongue in the basement

High on the American dream

Paris Hilton’s vagina

-Matthew Good

Remind you of any songs?

Milton Hadley? Milton Hadley's great!

ANd I remember the MShow. It had a entire thing about the strategic points of Canada if there was to be a war with the US or Britain, from the 30s or 40s I think. I still have it on my computer, if anyone wants it, PM me.
