Nlx Opening In Boston, Nyc And Philly

NLX - who opened for Matt on the last few dates of his 2007 Western Canada tour back in November - will be back to open three dates of his U.S. tour ...

 

March 23rd - The Middle East in Boston (well, Cambridge really).

 

March 25th - Highline Ballroom, NYC (a big room).

 

March 26th - The Tin Angel, Philadelphia.

 

NLX is originally from Hamilton, Ontario, and now lives in NYC.

Just looked it up on myspace. This was the chick that played keyboard and whatnot? I remember people saying they weren't too impressed.

 

I kinda liked the guys that opened at Buffalo. The singer sounded like a 15 year old Thom Yorke. Somebody yelled "FAKE PLASTIC TREES!" They were pretty good though.

Yeah, NLX didn't get that good vibes from members here when she toured last - mostly as they preferred "the hot one" in Dala, who were on the tour before her.

 

NLX's music is darker, more intense ... once called "Trent Reznor with Tits".

She got a lot of good feedback on Matt's tour from fans at the gigs and sold a few hundred CDs, so I guess some people liked her.
