Hypothetical Setlist

Recommended Posts

15 Hours on a Septmeber Thursday. I've never heard any of the songs live before, and I love every single one, so it'd be fantastic to see.

I'd also volunteer to play drums in the band.

Wow. Unconventional. But he wouldn't need that much of a band for those. ;)

I would have to say Avalanche. The live versions of those songs seem to be really powerful. I wouldn't want him to play "Song for the Girl," obviously.

I love she's got a new disguise

I love that song, too, but everyone else seems to think it's too repetitive. It just makes me FEEL something. Sadness, mainly.

No Hello Time Bomb.

No Apparitions.

Definitely Sort of a Protest Song.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I love She's Got a New Disguise.

I'd probably ask him to play songs that weren't singles, or have only been played once or twice, like Let's Get it On, I Miss New Wave, Failing the Rorschach Test etc etc, and songs I miss hearing, like Born to Kill and Running For Home.

Seanathon...you put some serious thought into that playlist :)You cant forget She's Got A New Disguise, Can't Get Shot In The Back, While We Were Hunting Rabbits, 99% Of Us Is Failure, Tripoli, Truffle Pigs, A Boy And His Machine Gun, Advertising On Police Cars, Alert Status Red, It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man and Born Losers....I could seriously listen to everything he has ever done all in one sitting.

Man of Action (I'd go home happy if he stopped right there)

Truffle Pigs

Raygun

Alabama Motel Room

Born Losers

I Miss New Wave

We're So Heavy

Carmelina

Future is X-Rated

Avalanche

Prime Time Deliverance

Weapon

Failing the Rorschach Test

Everything is Automatic

Buffalo 7

Champions of Nothing

Suburbia

Encore:

Giant

Sort of a Protest Song

Note: I didn't read the OP before I typed this up, but if I had to pick just an album, I'd go with Audio of Being since so many great songs from that have never made it into the rotation.

I'd agree with AoB. I feel like it's a crowning achievement of an album.

Champions of Nothing

Symbolistic White Walls

Weapon

Avalanche

Under the Influence

Advertising on Police Cars

A Boy and His Machine Gun

Prime Time Deliverance

I Miss New Wave

I'm a Window

Truffle Pigs

Failing the Rorschach Test

The Rat Who Would Be King

Tripoli

Encore:

House of Smoke and Mirrors

Alert Status Red

It would be a crazy downcast and depressed show, though.
