Songs Matt Will Probably Play With His Band

Since there's been some talk about what songs Matt doesn't like, and which one's he may not remember how to play and so on, Which songs do you think he will most likely play when he tours with his band.

I'm guessing Weapon, Near Fantastica, Giant (because the crowd will surely ask for it - and for good reason), and of course lots from Hospital Music.

i'm talking about songs he will "likely" play. He is know to throw a few demos or songs that he is working on into the mix, but Annabelle has been around for a while and I doubt he's ever played it live.

You know, it's weird...I'm not the biggest fan of Time Bomb but when he plays it live it's awesome...gets the crowd going, plus the slow down part that he does when he plays it live makes the song so much better....to me, even if he hates the song, its the perfect song to play live that will please people...I've seen him play A LOT and its always the song that makes everyone around me in the crowd happy...

For sure there's a lot of songs that we want to hear but I have to agree I look forward to hearing Hello Time Bomb because of the way he does it live. And I've seen him many times too - it never gets old for me.

Apparitions is a great song...but just once I'd like to see a show without it. I've seen 36 shows and the only one he didn't play it at was Wild Bills, where he had the intention but never made it that far. I realize it's his most popular work and that there are people in the audience that come JUST for that song...which is why it would amuse me to see it dropped.

I don't care what he plays. I just can't wait to hear him rock again. My wife and I caught him with his band for our first show and now will be going to our third solo show tomorrow. While I dig the solo groove, that first show really blew me away.

Ditto. It's been five years since I've seen him with a full band. He could play Yankee Doodle Dandy for the entire two hours and I'd still be a happy camper. I'd be a little dissapointed if Load Me Up was dropped, but I still probably leave the theatre satisfied (and proud of myself).

I'm actually quite excited to hear some of Hospital Music full band. "I'm A Window" and "Born Losers"

 

 

I've heard them acoustic for a while now and full band will be a whole different live experience.

I'm hoping for some of the demo's (the boy who could explode, us remains impossible and on nights like tonight)

I'm with you on this one... I would love it if I went to one of his shows and he didn't play any of these three.

 

Also, I'd love to hear Annabelle live too... I think it would be incredible.

 

...and A Single Explosion with the full band will be great, one of my favourites on the album and have been waiting for a proper version of it live.
