i have gmail... what about it?

i talked to someone who told me the following:

file > import and export

choose an action to perform:

>export to a file

create a file of type:

>personal folder file (.pst)

select a folder to export from:

>personal folders

>check "include subfolders" box

save exported file as:

(options:) (((* is option i selected)))

-replace duplicates with items exported

*allow duplicate items to be created

-do not export duplicate items

so this all worked fine, i saved it to the harddrive then copied it to my memory stick. then i took the memory stick to the new laptop and went to import, but i cant seem to find an option to import...

on new computer::::

file -> import (((* is option i selected)))

address book...

other address book...

*messages...

mail account settings...

news account settings...

menu reads:

Select an email program to import from:

eudora Pro or Light (through 3.0)

Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Internet Mail (32bit Version)

Microsoft Internet Mail For Windows 3.1

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook Express 4

Microsoft Outlook Express 6

Microsoft Windows Messaging

Netscape Communicator

Netscape Mail (v2 or v3)

i tried clicking on Microsoft Outlook, but it asked me to import from the MS Outlook that is already on the computer... i need to import from the file on the memory stick. so close yet so far away. help is appreciated.
