Don't know who long this deal will last but the Royal Bank is giving away free Asus Eee pc's if you open a specific account.

Actually the account isn't that bad a deal. It's a fairly good RBC account for those of us who can't get the student account anymore. You don't need a new visa, but they will give you $35 back at the end of the year if you get one.

 

Since I have to switch my accounts, and I would get the multi-product rebate, I might consider it.

well, considering that the hard drive limits it's ability in areas, yeah it isn't great. But soem might find use to it. Not me, but the whole linux thing sounds like an awesome idea.
