To those who have anti virus programs installed, it seems that SP 3 does not like some of them, one being Trend Micro, which I used, I downloaded and installed SP3, and it conflicted with my anti virus software, deleted my profile from XP, and I had to reinstall XP.

that seems more of an anti-virus issue honestly ;)

my upgrade went fine (running comodo and nod32)

It was an anti-virus error on my end I found out, I got a error message stating that your anti-virus caused a serious error, and your user profile has been wiped.

and yeah sounds like a Anti Virus issue, When Vista first rolled out it didn't work with Vista at all... I should know I had to take the freaken dell support calls about it.. lol
