With the exception of Avalanche and the HM tunes, I'm not too excited about that set. I'd rather some old Audio of Being stuff than White Light. That said, can't please them all, and as I can't get to any of these shows anyway, my opinion's pretty moot, and I'm sure other people are really enjoying these.

Still to bad there is no NF on the setlist, as that was the I wanted to hear the most. But other than that, it is a pretty solid set list, though the opener at Arizona's in 2005 is by far my favorite, when he opened with Advertising on Police Cars (full band) and then Avalanche.

Great setlist for the Halifax show... thank for sharing it !

I am excited (as a new fan) to be seeing Matt for the first time tonight ! ;)

I will be posting the setlist when I get back home from the show !

When you get there go to the soundboard and talk to Paul. Ask him if you can have his setlist after the show. He's a really nice guy and as long as you don't give him shit or annoy him he'll probably give it to you. He actually came out to find me with it.

Show was the best I've seen in Halifax, so far (only my third, though).

The rendition of Giant was particularly solid, and was definitely the highlight of the night for me. Gotta love the keyboard player and his samples.

Last, the new guitarist (Stu, I think?) is fantastic. Wicked lap steel playing, and good reworking of Matt's solos and of Dave's solos. Drummer's solid, and the bass player's good, but looks bored, most of the time (except, notably, during Giant).

Have fun at Elwood's, guys. It should be pretty intense in that little sardine can.

PS And you all thought I'd left for good!

thanks for the setlist, monochrome. i'm terrible at remembering that stuff. best show i've ever been to. the spades were a great opener, and matthew good and his band were awesome. me and the girl had the best 'seats' in the house: right against the barrier before the stage, between mr. good and mr. lead-guitar-for-hire.
