So every Sunday night X929 here plays an "album that matters" and I gather they talk about the album and abotu stuff pertaining to this album etc (never actually listened)

 

BUT this week they are doing Underdogs so thought I'd give people the heads up.

 

It'll be on this sunday (Jun 15) @ 10pm MDT and you can listen to it here (x929.ca)

As a Matt Good fan, that album definitely matters. It's a great album in its own right, but also it's a big part of the 'matthew good experience' - then and now etc etc.

 

I know nothing of the radio station, so my question to everyone is:

 

if not for the surprising success of Hospital Music, would non-Matt fans be talking about his early stuff as "an album that matters"?

 

Just curious.

 

Also, how was the show? good?
