Yay, I actually managed to get it myself but I have to say I think I like POAIJ 2 better but I'll wait to hear the album version to give final judgement. It still sounds pretty good but I really liked the closing of the other one.

I'm really digging this new version. The piano is more...mellow and pleasing to the ears I think.

 

Edit: Wow! The flow of the lyrics and the actual sound of the melody is FAR better. Especially at the part that he is singing before it cuts out.

 

I agree with Matt that the strange interlude present in the previous version was a little too abrubt and dissonant with the rest of the track. I'm glad he removed it, as I think the track will stand stronger without it.

I never heard the first incarnations of the demo but must say I really love this version of the song.The simple bass notes with the uptempo piano really shine on this track. And the scratch vocals weren't too shabby either.

Don't worry, he'd have to be crazy to not put the final version of this on the album in some form... it's so good.
