this is a live in studio recording of it floating around. I think it was from calgary radio. I can't speak to if it were played on the radio in single form.

Thanks for uploading these Gomo, I had yet to hear this acoustic version of Black Helicopter.

It was on X929 that I heard Black Helicopter a couple times, but it was the full band version from the Massey Hall CD.

It's good to hear the acoustic one...a bit somber though when you compare it to his more recent live performances.

I have BH from a couple interviews in kingston and ottawa from before the release of HM...i'm guessing this is probably about the same time
