I understand what you're saying and I thought about that when I set this up. I didn't want to be the sole judge of which songs were strong and which were weak, and so the process of selecting matchups was random. However, we will be able to bring songs that were eliminated back later on, just so that no song that deserves to be ranked amongst the top 20 gets left out because they lost early. Lastly, if it was set up so that all the matchups were strong vs. weak, it would really take the fun out of it as there would be no real close contests, which would suck because the first round takes up about half the time of the whole process. That being said, I would never had alowed something like Weapon vs. Suburbia in the first round, but so far I've made no changes to the way it turned out. If one of the matchups puts a top 20 song from 2005 against another top 20 song I'll consider making changes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
