Boondock Saints

so... the original movie, made about 10 years ago now was great. loved it. classic film throughout my highschool years.

 

now, All Saints Day is arriving to us soon, about time they did a second part.

 

Any interested in seeing it? I hope it's not horrible, which i can totally see happening after waiting so long to do the second part.

After this long I'm rather skeptical. I have a gut feeling that it's not going to live up to anyone's expectations, and why even bother with a sequel? It was and still is fine on its own, there's no need to mess with a good thing. But then there's money to factor in to the equation... At least they've got the originals coming back, any word on if Willem Dafoe makes an appearance? That would give me a little more hope.

No Dafoe in this one. Unfortunately. Obviously I'm skeptical, but I'll still check it out.

Bumping because I actually did go and see it. Not as good as the first, a little to heavy on the comedy. Still pretty much what you would expect; gratuitous shoot em up violence and goofy policemen. I enjoyed it.
