Great, great band. Soup is one of the best albums of the 90's, easily. Hoon could write and sing like few can.

 

Wish Shannon could have stuck around longer to write with them, damn shame. Also wish I saw them live.

no argument. it's not for everybody, apparently, but no one seems to get past no rain. i met shannon's mother a few times and she is still blown away by how many people are still touched by shannon's words and music. really down to earth.

went to indiana for his annual vigil at his gravesite. she was there along with her mom, vernie (yes, from the song). she gave us a tour of her house and offered us a place to stay. she also drove us around while she did errands and picked up some custom t-shirts for the event. she also gave us some of shannon's blank cheques. experience of a lifetime.
