Yea...i wouldn't call any of that "acting" by Vin disel. It was mostly him with blacked out googles saying a few cheesy action lines.

who cares how bad vin's acting is... this was a damn good action movie! sure it was cheesy in parts but it was fun to watch... chronicles of riddick, now THERE was a bad movie.

I didn't really like it when I saw it back when it first came out but damn - those bird things were scary! I remember being afraid to turn off my lights that night because I thought they'd come and eat my face!

I really liked Pitch Black, It was a good sci-fi horror movie. The acting wasn't the best but the story was good and the special effects were cool.

 

As for Chronicles of Riddick.... /drool

It was such an epic sci-fi movie. And we really need more of those (really, other than Star Wars and Alien, there aren't any really epic space-based sci-fi movies). It was supposed to be the first part of a trilogy (which was being billed as the dark brother of Star Wars lol) I hope poor box office sales don't doom the next two. I think once COR comes out on DVD it will develop a cult following like Pitch Black did.
