Where Is This Quote From?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Years ago I saw the below quote written on a classroom blackboard and I've admired it ever since. It wasn't attributed to anyone, and searching for it on Google has hinted to me that Matthew Good wrote it. So what I'm asking is: Did he for sure write it? If so, what exactly was it -- a song, a poem, a manifesto, a blog entry?

"Welcome to today

How do you feel?

This is what today looks like

Is it what you expected?

There will come a time when you will

wake up and realize that there will come a time

when you will not

There will come a time

when the version of you on this day

will seem stupid

It is not your fault."

Thanks.

It's either from Weapon, or he wrote them on his blog a long time ago, probably when he was still writing manifestos.

it's from the old site. not a big mystery. the reason you can't find any info is because that is the only place it was and it is no longer.
