So stoked. I tweeted much in August and said they better do a Curated By while Matt is in Toronto. And there you go. They're doing it. It's 6pm EST or 3pm pacific today. Hope you guys have cable!

That's very cool. I wonder what the radiohead song will be. I'm partial to street spirit, myself. Radiohead were my favorite band before MGB. Sorry for the typing. Still getting used to iPad.

 

I wonder if he will share "what kind of man?" By Florence and machine. That song and the music video are both absolutely spectacular.

I'm curious about the Lana song! I love Lana.

This really surprised me.....I had pretty much written that channel off. I was under the impression they didn't even play music videos anymore, except for overnight, just to fill licensing requirements. After all, they even dropped 'music' from their name, in a move that was probably a decade overdue.

 

Let's just hope they play the vids in their entirety, instead of just snippets to cater to those lacking in attention spans.

I think I watched another one, Curated By Mother Mother? if i recall. And it's an hour long, with 10 videos in the selection. So pretty sure they actually play each in its entirety.

 

I'm actually stuck at work while it's on. But trying to DVR it with my phone, which apparently you can do? lol

Yeah, I can't help but think there must have been some kind of falling out between Matt and Muchmusic at some point in the mid 2000's.

 

Man, that Johnny Cash video tears me apart every time. That was a good little hour of music videos. Really enjoyed how little restriction there was there. Even in the days of much on demand and rsvp, they could only play certain requests.

This was a solid compilation. I enjoyed it a lot. Bastards of Young is a great track. REM, the Hip, Sloan, Lana. It had it all.

I was surprised no Pixies though.

Great list, if you want more pulp, their big album was "different class" but this is hardcore is great too.

Glad to see Bobcaygeon, Just, and Hurt. Love NIN but it's really the Johnny Cash version that pulls the heartstrings.
