New Album 2017

Recommended Posts

The album is definitely 9 tracks :P. I've been lucky enough to listen to the whole album and I'll try and get a proper review up before the album comes out.

"She's Got You Where She Wants You" is my favourite so far.

e: "Something Like a Storm" sounds pretty epic too.

You bastard! :P

How is Something Like a Storm compared to the original 21 minute demo version? How did he make it so short?

Bummed that Something Like A Storm (song) was cut down so much. There were a lot of good riffs in the original demo. I still listen to it all the time.

Also bummed that Bad Pennies was not on the table for the album  :(

Also if October 20 is indeed the release date....that's the date of my wedding. Guess I'll have to wait until after the mini-honeymoon to hear it.

However if I buy the vinyl like I did for Chaotic Neutral, and it takes like 4 months to get to me, like the last time, well then maybe I won't hear it til 2018

It's so stupid that I have OCD for this but I hate when there's multiple starting letters that are the same, drives me nuts.

  1. Bad Guys Win 4:25
  2. Decades 3:40
  3. Men at the Door 4:56
  4. There the First Time 4:49
  5. Days Come Down 4:09
  6. Something Like a Storm 5:56
  7. She's Got You Where She Wants You 4:11
  8. This Is Night 4:58
  9. Bullets in a Briefcase 6:23

Definitely not letting you off the hook for this. That's real weird.

I don't know what's going on with the guitar riffs on this album, but so far everything I've heard has been amazing. I'm not sure I've been this excited for an album since Hospital Music.

Is there any benefit in preordering this year? I didn't see any info on whether or not anything would be signed and I'd rather just pick them up the day of from Sunrise to avoid shipping if that's the case.

I was writing a post asking that same question. What does preordering do nowadays? So we get all three singles in advanced but two of those are already officially on YouTube and the third should follow soon enough.

I'm not complaining either I just don't see the point. I'm buying the record on the day of its release like I always do.
