Born to Kill was going to be the final in the encore. But it didn't get played. It was on the setlist though.

I gotta say I found the atmosphere at the Toronto show strange. By the time Matt started playing, there was a pretty standard Toronto size crowd to see him, but inside Molson Amphitheatre (yeah, I know it has another name now - it's stupid though), that crowd was pretty dwarfed by the overall size of the venue. When Midnight Oil came on, it didn't swell to a decent sized crowd until like the third or fourth song. Either the Toronto chapter of the Midnight Oil fan club was stuck in traffic, or the Midnight Oil fans viewed Matt as an opener and didn't bother, but it was just a strange vibe. 

Either way, me and the other four people in my row were all MG fans and lost our minds during the duration of the show.  Trying to remember setlists - some may be out of order ...

It's awesome to see some of the rogue Beautiful Midnight songs still in the setlist. Going All The Way was one that took me by surprise and became a favourite.

 

I appreciate this song a lot more having heard it on the last tour.  I'm also hoping that I Miss New Wave starts to make appearances when he eventually tours for the new album.

That setlist is amazing. Any chance of hearing it anywhere?

We really need to get Jackson Triggs on the phone out here in Niagara - so many nice wineries in Ontario - and I am sure we can track down a massive white board :) 

An acoustic tour with setlist like that would be fantastic.

 

If there is anyway to hear last nights show ... please link me up!

I have a copy of the show. Once/if  the taper gives the ok it will be on the lounge.  I am under the impression it will be on there sooner than later.  I will say the quality is incredible and you guys will love it.  Matt went all out and you could tell he was having a blast.
