So this happened last year and now all the files are being digitized.  There must be something pertaining to Matthew Good Band in this collection.  I really, really wish MUCH would do something like this with their archives, they are totally uninterested in using music related programming anymore, let alone archival stuff.  But there is some seriously amazing things they must have that could be so enjoyed by the music fans out there.  Sad to think this kind of thing just rots away.  Anyways hopefully the EMI archive will have some interesting stuff in there.

Parts of the collection are expected to be made available to the public through a partnership with the National Music Centre.

I didn't know this was happening in my city. I think I will pay a visit to the National Music Centre and see if there is anything Matthew Good related. If the University of Calgary needs help or is looking for volunteers for preserving the audio-visual recordings, I would be all over it. It would be so interesting. I would love this kind of work.
