How far is too far to go to a Matt Good concert?

yeah depends on where you'd want to see him. if you wanted to see him in van then it'd be a good 8000miles. you should do it sometime and tell him that you flew to see him live. He'd probably be impressed with that.

I can't really answer that question. I have driven 250 miles to see him in concert...i don't know how far i would go. Actually i don't think distance is the problem...it's money.

i've gone as far as Grand Bend from Brantford... which is about 175km

luckily, he plays closer most of the time. hell, one time he played 2 blocks from my house ;)

I think I drove about 500 miles for one show each way, but that doesn't count the time I flew to Vancouver (from New York) and saw a show while there.

I was going to fly from LA to Buffalo to see him. I'd like to be able to see him play without needing a passport to get there--but within those limitations--there is no too far.

I've flown twice from Smithers to Vancouver to see him. It's about 1200km each way. And those plane tickets dont come cheap either!! $400. As for too far to go... its depends on the situation. If you are going on vacation, try to plan it around a concert. Almost everytime i come down from northern BC to Vancouver i plan it around a show. For example i drove the 1200km each way over the labour day weekend to see the Killers in Vancouver and Victoria. And when i was in Alabama earlier this summer i saw Live/Fuel/Foutains of Wayne. As long as i was spending time in the place, it wouldn't really matter where the concert was. I'd love to go to Europe sometime and see one of my favorite bands play there. That would be sweeeeet.
