I heard Dave Genn was in a band before MGB called DSK.

 

Has anyone heard of them? What are they like? I'd be really interested in hearing some of their music, but I have no idea where to look to find it.

Never heard of it... but I share your interest in anything that Genn has had a part in.... pure genious.

It was the band Dave Genn and Rich Priske were in before MGB. They were the self proclaimed "Most disfunctional band in canada". they were really good too. And if you want more pre Matthew Good bands then check out Christian Thor Valdson's "Copyright" (Matt wants to do a Copyright song, but Christian doesnt seem to want to) or Pat Stewards "The Odds", which is actually quite popular. they had the song "someone who is cool". hope that helps you out somehow.
