They're not bad, though Benjamin Gibbard was better as a solo artist. Iron and Wine is a good song, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

Man I never thought anyone would make a thread on them. Very awesome music.

A very good band that's doing something fun and different. It's nice that they haven't become mainstream because they're just this fun band for people to discover. I hope to hear more from them soon.

 

And there is no song called Iron and Wine. You might be thinking of "Such Great Heights" which was covered by Iron and Wine on the Garden State soundtrack. But it is a very cool song. My favorite.

Wow... I just listened to... crap. I can't remember the name of the song now. Whatever mp3 they have on their website. That's goddamn catchy if i may say so myself. Of course I gotta mention that the vocals sounded like Jimmy Eat World but that's not altogether a bad thing.

Ive been a fan of them for quite awhile. I remembered back in Feburary when i baught the CD i had to order it and wait for a month, now its stocked pilled on shelves at A&B sound.
