I used to play the piano although I wasn't very good and couldn't be bothered to practice all that much - which is probably why I wasn't very good. But I am going to buy my boyfriend an electric guitar (probably used) for Christmas so I will probably learn along with him.

I believe I have already participated in a thread such as this before but what the heck, I like to talk about instuments so here goes:

Flute - on and off for about 10 years. I don't know what kind I have cause I stole an old one from my junior high school when they got new

instruments.

Piano - on and off for the same amount of time as above. I only took lessons for a year and then quit cause I don't like playing the songs in those lesson books. They're boring! Now I play when I'm writing songs.

Guitar - I started when I was 13, then stopped because I was too busy with dancing, then started again when I moved away to go to college. I just got a new acoustic-electric. Its an Ibanez Talman but I don't have an amp yet so I just play it acoustic.

Nothing wrong with being a band geek. I practise my trumpet about 90 minutes a day, and just look how sexy I am!

Guitar for only 1 and a half yr. Got it as a graduation present and can't put it down! In another year or so when I feel like I have a solid grasp on the guitar, I want to pick up a nice electric.

Playing a 'Norman' accoustic. Hand made full wood body.

I love learning anything. Play a lot of matt good, coldplay, and anything i feel like pulling up some tab on and learning!
