Bontempo?

can someone explain this to me? what is BonTempo? i'm pretty sure that it is an name Matt recorded stuff under (like an alter ego), but can someone explain the whole story and history behind it? thanks.

You are right about it being a "joke" band by Matt Good. I don't know the entire story. The lyrics from the songs are quite disturbing though, have you seen the lyrics on NF?

what era was this during? was all of MGB involved? any actual albums released under this name? where is the name from and what does it mean?

Im guessing they went into a studio once in a while to record a few songs for fun. Could be from any time really.

-I believe it was around 2001 that all of this came out

-The whole band wasn't involved, no. Bontempo consisted of Matt, Matt's friend and Rich. (I believe)

-No albums were released, it was just a big joke.

 

I don't know much else about it.
