Hey in the end the goal of any political statement is to raise awareness and stimulate discussion, and judging by the fact that there has been a fair number of posts here I'd say that Matt has done just that.

You know if you have a flag like the Union-jack, or Japan's flag, it's impossible to invert.

It's funny what people get worked up about. In the 70's hippies were wearing US flags as clothes and on their pants and so many people freaked because they felt the flag was being disgraced. 'Oh heavens, he has a flag on his butt!!'

Now even Republicans wear them. It's a crazy world, folks.
