I agree that A Weekend in the City is a little bit Coldplay-ish. But that doesn't stop Hunting for Witches from being totally bitchin`.

 

Edit: Also: how the fuck is Intimacy their least critically praised album?

A Weekend In The City is their best work in my opinion, although considered worst by many fans. Musically, Hunting For Witches is awesome (mostly the intro) but the lyrics make the song nearly unlistenable to me. From Uniform until the end of the album is pure bliss. On, Kreuzberg, and Sunday standing out.

 

Apparently Kele Okereke (frontman) is going solo and the drummer has come out and said when Bloc Party reconvenes he may not return at all to drumming. Such a waste. One of the best drummers in rock music.
