I'm a big fan of Sloan , not as big as matt, but I was quite disapointed in their new CD action Pact. I waited and waited for months then it finally came out.

It's kinda crappy compared to all their other CD's.

 

Anyone else heard their new cd?

Action Pact sucked. Especially "Backstabbin". Could very well be one of the worst songs ever.

I didnt mind the CD actually, but i still think "between the bridges" is there best CD by far.

Action Pact is an underrated record. It's sloan's WLRRR so to speak, as they set out to make a straight up, kick you in the balls rock record.

 

That said, some of the stuff on there isn't very good (Backstabbin' is indeed an awful song). But False Alarm (the best track on the record), Nothing Lasts Forever Anymore and Fade Away are all fantastic tracks. Rest of my Life isn't too bad either.
