help us get rid of the matthew good band

 

I noticed this on The Audio of Being case and little black label on the cd. This has most likely been answered in some other post, but I'm not going to scroll through hundreds of threads.

 

Why is it there?

Probably something to do with the internal strife going on in the band during that period. A little dark humour is what I think it is.

That's right. He also left while they were making the album, then came back a few days later to finish it.

it was just for laughs, (although i guess you could call it foreshadowing cause they were fighting at the time and they broke up just after AOB was released).

Yeah, they were going to replace him with Ryan Dahle, I believe.

I just noticed that on the CD itself it is next to 2001 universal music. Perhaps it is a plea from universal?

 

But most likely just a joke.
