listen really close, it's Jen, and yes that's his wife. i was really surprised the first time i heard it cause i have listened to the song tons of times and never noticed.

Well, it makes sense. He's like telling his wife that he'll bring them to their knees. I've always thought that he's taking about his former band mates for MGB in that song. I've also think that he's taking about them in Weapon when he says 'Never turn your back on me'.

i always thought the avalanche cd seemed more politcal than personal. but hey i'm gonna listen for a personal side next time i throw it on. maybe i'll end up with a little of both. politically personal or personally political. lol
