Matthew Good - In A Coma Due This Fall!

Recommended Posts

I have just finished five days in the studio recording acoustic versions of previously recorded material. Containing nine tracks in total, the disc will be available in the fall as a part of a special version of In A Coma that will include two audio CD’s and a DVD of my video library (or so the plan goes). Despite containing nine tracks, I recorded the songs as one continuous piece that runs uninterrupted for over 35 minutes. Besides being very ill this week with the beginnings of strep throat, I am more than overjoyed with the results.

That's what Matt wrote on the mblog about the project...

That's odd about the music running one continuous piece, interesting choice...

I know they can't have a huge DVD, it's just a bonus little DVD with some stuff like music videos, but some new footage or interviews would be an awesome treat.

I really hope they put all of his videos on the DVD. Just a greatest hits release would rule, all of this other stuff is simply amazing.

I have trouble hearing an acoustic Running For Home. Maybe it'll be all piano, no strings?

I've played Running For Home on acoustic.

It's pretty sweet, it can be done.
