I looked back a few pages and didn't see a thread about Dark New Day. It's former Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery's new band. Their album comes out in a couple of weeks. I've heard the entire album and think it is great. Check out their MySpace page to listen to some songs from the upcomming album.

Why'd he leave? He was a principal songwriter in Sevendust?

 

I used to love Sevendust. Animosity is one of my favourite albums, but whatever that followup was, it sucked ASS.

His brother also plays in the new band, so I think that was one of the reasons he left. They probably had wanted to form a band together.
