Smog Kills 800/year In Toronto And Montreal

Smog is responsible for more than 800 deaths a year in Toronto, and extreme heat makes the problem even worse, a new government study has found.

 

The issue appears to be just as bad, in relative terms, in three smaller cities

i find it ironic that the study was done in hamilton, which has two steel mills and is, by all accounts, an almost entirely industrial city, thus filling its air with millions of toxins and other pollutants and generating hazardous smog.
