Billy Talent

Billy Talent is pretty good. I like that song "This Is how it goes". It's got some pretty cool guitar. But I find they lack in the creative song department. I find a lot of their songs sound similar, and then there's the one's that stand out as really well done.

emo was quite the genre. it doesn't really exist nowadays though....

I should clarify. I was just getting at the name more than anything else. As someone stated, most music is 'emotional', so the term literally encompasses almost every song in existence. Seems like they, whoever they may be, could have come up with something a bit less...intesely vague.

 

At any rate, Billy Talent tends to annoy me, if not to the point of hatred.

I'll give the band credit. they have a real original sound.

 

I'm really picky with singing voices. there's something annoying about a 30 something year old trying to sing like a child.Ben's sounds like a little kid throwing a screaming tantrum in a grocery store or something. and his style kind of creeps me out, he might aswell go all the way and wear a halter-top.

 

the coolest thing about that band is definitely their guitarists hair.
