New album: "Playing The Angel"

The band have announced the title of their upcoming album. The album will be called "Playing The Angel". Some of the songs on the album are:

 

Precious

Sinner in Me

Suffer Well

John the Revelator

Macrovision

A Pain That I Used To Be

I Want It All

The band are currently in London, mixing the "as-yet-untitled" album, with Steve Fitzmaurice. The release is still planned for an Autumn (possibly October) release date.

Depeche Mode fan here - Precious is a great song and the album is their best since Songs of faith and devotion IMHO

I think the covers of Depeche Mode stuff always sound better than the original. Probably not a good thing.

I love the new album. Especially Suffer Well and Precious. It has quite a few shots of the type of brilliance found on Violator. They play Vancouver in a few weeks but unfortunately I will miss them. A torrent would be nice.

i've heard 'precious' now, and it's pretty good. i'm not a huge fan of depeche mode though, so we'll see.

Most often when old bands start making new music it isn't very good.
