Some of the old Alliance members were progressive conservative type people too. The Alliance was meant to be what the Conservative party became. And beyond that, the leader of a party doesn't neccessarily display the ideas of ever person in the party, it's simply the leaders platform the party runs on.

I remember going to see a live taping of that. It was the year after John Morgan left.

They still had a few things going for them when they brought in a new guest every week, I think. But now there's just nothing.

Same thing goes for This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Nothing without Rick Mercer, and even his new show fails to impress.

Did John Morgan die after he left?

22 Minutes has its moments, although I agree that Rick Mercer was its best member. Getting that guy into the photo for the outdoor hockey game in Edmonton was pretty funny.

Made in Canada was pretty good.

John Morgan died a few months ago, sadly.

Also, that wasn't Rick Mercer in the photo of the hockey game, it was Raj Binder.

I actually saw that guy when I was at the Grey Cup. I told him that he rocked. He said, "thanks".

Also, he stole my joke about telling the cheerleader that she had nice pom-poms.
