Well i was with a friend when he bought it two days before it came out at a new&used CD store, because they wanted to get rid of their play copy.

I loved SM, and was rather indifferent towards everything else, but i actually felt a strong hatred for OLP for making this album. I used to be able to handle them, but now it's actually distaste.

it's an old school u2 ripoff which makes it better than their last album but pretty much just as bad.

their mojo went out the door with mike after happiness.

exactly.

somewhere down the road, raine decided to stop writing his own lyrics and opted to just hide in highschool locker rooms stealing bad teenage poetry. i guess that's so the kids can still relate? i don't know.

i saw the video for 'automatic flowers' the other day and realized that there was a time when the band was actually good.

;) OLP makes me big sad.

When I first heard them, I thought they had a great sound and interesting phrasing in lyrics. But all in all I thought they had a really great jumping off point to becoming an innovative, or if nothing else, cool pop-rock band.

How is it that they managed to be more creative and experimental on their first album than on their latest? Why did the band regress? Jerks.

I'll admit to buying Clumsy enjoying it, but only because I didn't realise at the time that there was a whole world filled with different sounds.

And not too long ago I bought an Incubus album, and for some fucked up reason when I went to listen to it the actual content on the disk was OLP's Naveed. Really got fucked there.

I think it's so sad how much i loved Spiritual Machines when every other album either sucked from the get-go or grew to be so boring.

I used to love Clumsy and Happiness. Then i hit puberty.
