Ok, so come on, people who have seen his signature before....does it really look like this??

 

Or shall i just go ahead and say i really dont think he put much effort into this one!!

 

I'm dissapointed!! Especially with the amount of money i spent extra compared to Amazon.

really? well its from maplemusic. But here is the story. They didnt ship my CD straight away, so i emailed them. and then they were like...oh yeah we have sent your CD but we have just realised you ordered a signed copy. So we will get that sent to you seperately. So....who wants to bet that somebody at maplemusic just squiggled on it and sent it to me?!?!?

i know. i thought the same. i mean, he did have to go through 200 of them so i can imagine that would get a bit annoying. but still...

i still think that one is much better. it actually resembles what its supposed to!! you can make out the m and g....rather than...m and.....squiggle.

it's obvious whoever faked the sig made a halfassed attempt at the "M" and then just got lazy and made a line.

yeah see, there is a trend in all the ones that you guys posted. mine just looks like a two year old forged it. I have emailed matt. He took his email adress down from the info page, but i assume its still "[email protected]" i'll see what he says.

 

I also e-mailed maplemusic. they said this:

 

"Sorry David, There we all hand signed by Matt and as is the case with most signatures, sometimes they don't always look the best, but they are authentic."

I'd believe MapleMusic when they say that MG signed 200 copies. But that's just me. There really isn't an easy way to authenticate it though. 200 copies = 199 signatures too many.

yeah. thats the thing. it could jus be that after doing so many signatures, they got worse as he went. hand cramp! haha. its just that the other pics people have posted actually all look the same, where as mine just really stands out as looking dodgy. but it probably is genuine. just wish i had got the insert that he signed first :-( its still maplemusics fault, as they forgot to send an insert out with my CD. haha. damn them!! which probably means i actually did get one of the last few to be signed. oh well. thats life.

It's one that someone over at the Idiot Box got. It's actually

a pretty good sig and pretty funny.

the whole point of signatures is that they're supposed to be distinguishable pieces of identification. no bank would accept that signature.

 

his signature consists of multiple strokes of the pen atleast.even if he was writing them quickly he'd still have to make those motions for it to be authentic. what you have is a squiggly line.it's not a signature, even if matt did write it. maybe he got tired, but that's no excuse to just, stop signing.

I've seen matt's signature dozens of times. And although it's degraded from where it was years ago... I doubt it's degraded that badly.

 

So chances are.. you either got a bogus signature.. or the 200th signature.

i have raygun signed and he signed his full name - matthew good. i think he's gotten lazy. it's awfully difficult to sign that laminated glossy paper.
