Yeah, saw them live in Victoria. They have a great energy live and if you're into mindless rock and roll they're great. But thats kinda all they are, a good band to get drunk party to. Like a more talented "Jet".

Just because their "mindless rock" doesn't mean they are not good, I am kind have tired of all these bands trying to throw in these meanings to songs that don't need them and kind have feel fake anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I dig these guys. They've got some great tunes. "Takin' the Hard Way" is one of my favorite rock songs but for me, this type of music only lasts a month or so and then I get sick of it. I need music with more substance. But when I want to party and listen to good music, these guys will always be there.

Does anyone have their first album Combing The Clouds? I just picked it up from a used record store and I like it quite a bit. Its got a more classic rock type feel but you could definately tell its them. Makes me wonder why they changed their direction so much for this newer album.
