I'm glad you're enjoying the unpolished version of the recording, I guess since you didn't need to wait to get it all fixed up before spreading it all around the internet I guess I don't have to rush to finish the entire show.

Way to spoil it before we gave it to Matt first.

I'm hoping that's the case. I would just be really dissapointed if someone took it upon themselves to not only send in something they didn't record or were not assocated in helping to improve which is what I add to it, or besides the fact that about 200 other people now already have it.

Although we appreciate your hard work 5ilent, it would be torture to wait any longer for this masterpiece.

I'm glad I got ahold of it when GravityDave posted it, otherwise I would be going nuts right now trying to find it somewhere else.

And your work isn't a waste. It's not like the unedited version of the show got put out there, just one rare new song.

When your polished version of the complete show is out, I'll thankfully grab that too, but this unedited song is a great appetizer.

Thanks,

Dan

I must admit this song didn't realy do it for me. The lyrics were great, but I'd almost rather here them as poetry read on its own. the guitar sounded (I'm sorry) like several other of his songs.

It kind of sounds like he just through it together last minute to play this show with, IMHO. Seems really rushed for something he'd write, oh well.

And of course it's going to sound like one of his other songs, the man only has like 1 strum pattern the most of the time. I think 'Rooms' was the first accoustic guitar driven thing he's done that didn't have the same strumming technique.

Thanks Dan for the link. It's going on my iPod ASAP! We're all fans of MG here, right? We're not mindless drones who will suck up every song he puts out, but just be appreciative that he'll never fall pray to bubble-gum pop music.

I don't know him personally, but I believe that his work ethic, towards writing music, is translated to his music.

I look forward to all future MG recordings until he hangs it up for sure, which I hope it won't be in a very long time. ;)

In the meantime, ENJOY IT with no regrets!
