The Strangers, in a nutshell:

Half an hour of a guy wandering around depressed after his girl totally rejects his proposal, and they figure out where to go from there. Then forty-five minutes of rather tame and predictable "horror" with the odd unsuccessful jump-out-with-loud-noise scare attempt. Followed by two people getting stabbed. Yes, it was that short.

 

All in all, not worth spending money on.
