Pretty good nineties band, the four members went onto be successful on their own too. Todd Kerns went to Static In Stereo before starting his own solo career and producing music. Ryan Dahle was already in Limblifter before the AOE disbanded but also had Alarmbell for awhile as well as producing for various bands. John Kerns was also in Static In Stereo before going onto Robin Black and The Intergalatic Rock Stars. Kurt Dahle was in Limblifter for awhile, is still in The New Pornographers, he plays for Todd Fancey (ex-Limblifter/The New Pornographers) solo project Fancey sometimes too, as well as produces music.

Oh yes, I remember my introduction to Age of Electric from good old Big Shiny Tunes 2. Oh the good old days...

I really liked Todd's work on Jumbo Jet Headache. Is there any way to get ahold of his solo material?

Man I used to be super obsessed with AOE, they were sooo good. It sucks that they broke up, but I enjoy Limblifter as well, havent really listened to much of the other stuff. Kurt looked best in the Ugly vid, thats crazy-cool that john is in Robin Black.

Well it's sold in stores in Canada, but if you're in another country than I don't know...

I was thinking more along the lines of downloading the album or at least one song, get a feel for his solo sound.

But I checked a few cd shops here in BC and I didn't find anything. Guess I'm not looking hard enough.

ok. although it's not really accessability im having problems with, because their songs are fairly straightforward. it's more along the lines of the fact that i can't really set them apart from any other band from that era. so whatever album has the best songwriting, instrumentation and all that jazz, is what i'm looking for...
