I was under the impression that Rabbits and we're so heavy were never performed live.

We're So Heavy was performed often on the White Light Rock and Roll Revue tour and a few times on the In A Coma one. I can't speak to Rabbits, but I have a feeling it was done live but it may have been just the vocals, and less than a handful of times...but I'm not 100% on that.

I've now seen him 14 times and never heard While we were Hunting Rabbits.

As much as I love the song Avalanche, it's not one of my favorites live. If I could take any song out of his live shows it would probably be Apparitions because I've heard it one too many times live.

Although I do typically like hearing his more melow stuff live (so I voted for Advertising on Police cars with Suburbia as a close second) I love both Near fantastica and Hello Time Bomb in concert.

You can never go wrong with Avalanche... as of now ive seen him play it live twice, and heard two live bootleggers, they were all somewhat different in many and some few ways. Amazing... I love it though!!! when he dies down... crowd starts cheering, everyone believes the song is over... i fall for it every time, then he breaks into this huge solo, flawless song.

it must be settled, has Rabbits been played live?

not that i know of, Shortcut to Moncton said he say it live, can anyone confirm this? I don't think it has been played because Matt remarked that it was too hard to sing, plus there is the orchestra and tympani and choir and such, which can't all the done on a click track (i don't think).

i dont think he'd let the lack of tiampani and the orchestra stop him from playing it live... he'd get by, he's done it before, time and time again. and the being too hard to sing... thats questionable. Perhaps he just never wanted to do it? *shrug*

i actually have clip from a bootleg where a fan shouts to play Rabbits, and he says there are some things you can only do in a studio, like "sing too high", i posted it below for all to hear

that's really too bad; i think rabbits would be awesome live.

i personally never thought he'd play TRWWBK for the same reasons (can only be done in studio etc,), so i nearly came in my pants when he did. i thanked him after the show, and he said that TRWWNK in particular sucked because he was all snotty from his cold and couldn't stop singing to wipe his nose...

though i haven't heard it live, i would imagine advertising on police cars would be the best on that list.

of those i have heard that aren't on there i would say bright end of nowhere.
