Has Anyone Seen Chronicles Of Narnia Yet?

Recommended Posts

If not, keep it that way. Personally, I found that the movie felt as if it was geared towards a much younger audiance, and there was some very bad acting, dialogue and plot devices utilized. The final battle scene was decent, but honestly, it wasn't worth the $12.00.

I always liked the other books better. This one was just too loveable and simple. Kids find secret world, meet cute things, turns out there's a war, they fight it and run shit until they are old and grey, then they return back to normal so there can be sequels. Still good though, too LOTR with the creature fights though.

It wasn't a bad movie, but as others have iterated here, it was definitely geared toward children. I would have LOVED to see a 3 hour Peter Jackson rendition of it ala LOTR (seems like it could have been a lot longer, but it's been a while since I read the book so I don't know what got cut out).

Oh, and I thought the preview was much better than the film itself.

Being a large fan of the book, I must say, the movie was decent. It will never be as good as the book, but, for a movie, I quite enjoyed it. I recomend it, even if it is directed to a younger audience. It's a children's book.

But, back in the day The Loard Of The Rings was aswell.

it seems the theme here is like most postings i've seen elsewhere of the movie, most people didn't like it... i, on the other hand, liked it quite a bit.. i found it enjoyable... read the books as a child and i've forgotten most of what was in them... but i thought it was pretty good

I loved the movie, but I must admit I was baked. I think thats why it was Sooo good to me, because it was epic and gripping and totally thrilling. I hadn't read the books since the 4th grade so I wasn't expecting anything, though I knew how it went so that in conjunction with my... shall we say 'regressed' state of being, created a lovely effect. I laughed, I cried, I was scared at the appropriate moments.

Also it was frewaking HILARIOUS how they spent a lot of the movie wearing those giant fur coats, as they looked like tiny pimps! It was awesome, especially Edmund... he was always my favourite and he looked rakishly pimpin'. Twas awesome. ;)
